Piaggio's three wheeler 'Ape' is a symbol of Italian design worldwide. Our idea with Fabrizio Caselani was to develop a retro front end in the style of the late 1970s Ape that would give a retro look to the Piaggio Porter NP6/NPE, offering a more emotional vehicle for our food truck outfitters. The 4PE project involves replacing the fenders, bumpers, grille, and headlights, giving the vehicle a distinct vintage character without sacrificing the technology and reliability of a modern commercial vehicle. The kit entered production by Caselani in 2026 as the sixth product line after the Citroen revisitations such as the Type H, HG, Fourgonnette and Type-Ami, as well as the contemporary remake of the Fiat 616N based on the Fiat Ducato.
